Prayer Fuel

Thank you for praying

To get the most out of your prayer time, we recommend utilizing the prayer wheel below. This model is designed to not only support your prayer for TTI but also to be valuable tool for your daily prayer life. We hope you find this template helpful and adaptable.

Praise & Thanksgiving

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Take a moment to thank God for who He is, what He’s done, and what He’s doing around the world.

Praise God for His protection over the church in West Africa. In the face of many dangers and distractions, Jesus continues to keep churches and families safe.
Thank you, Jesus, for the Gospel fruit being produced across the Himalayas. Many are coming to faith in Christ and following the Lord in baptism. Hallelujah!
Thank you, Lord, for doing more than we could ask or imagine over the last two years in a South Asian country. 27,279 churches have already been planted, with reports of many more coming soon.
Praise God for the amazing leaders that have been raised up across East Africa. It is incredible to see the way God transforms lives and uses individuals for His glory.
Praise God for adding many more faithful disciple makers who are actively sharing the Gospel in a Southeast Asian country. Many are coming to faith in this nation because of their obedience!

Confession & Repentance

“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” – Proverbs 4:23

Spend a few minutes to take inventory of your thoughts, actions, desires, behaviors, and lifestyle. Are there any areas in your life where there is unconfessed or unrepentant sin. Ask God to search your heart and respond accordingly before moving on.

Personal Petition

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7

Spend a few minutes bringing your personal requests before the Lord, as you do, consider asking the Lord to align your heart more closely with his, and to place a burden in your heart for the things that He cares most deeply about.

Intercession

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.” – 1 Timothy 2:1

Intercede on behalf of our brothers and sisters ministering around the world with TTI:

Pray for a disciple maker in South Asia who is eager to reach a new family for Christ this year. Pray that the Lord would move powerfully and that this family would believe in Jesus as Lord.
Pray for spiritual maturity among first, second, and third-generation disciples in a Southeast Asian country. Pray that these new churches would be strong, healthy, and continue to grow!
Pray for the 10 unreached people groups that still remain in Sierra Leone. Pray that a church would be planted among each of these groups and that many would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord.
Pray for the 782 unreached people groups in Pakistan. Over 250,000,000 people have little to no access to the Gospel in this nation. Please pray that God will raise up disciples to take the light of the Gospel into every corner of Pakistan.
Please continue to pray for the people of Myanmar as they recover from the devastating earthquake earlier this year. This tragedy came in the midst of an ongoing civil war, and there is unimaginable suffering across the nation. Pray for the church to be comforted and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Pray for aid to reach those in need.
Pray for the church in Nigeria as they are enduring increased violence and persecution. Pray that God would convict the hearts of the perpetrators and encounter those who hate Christians with the love of God. At the same time, pray for the safety and protection of the church in this nation.
Pray for the 1,106 church planters that have been launched across Togo and Benin. Pray that the Lord gives them faithful hearts to raise up disciples who boldly declare Jesus as King. Pray for a movement of churches planting churches in these two West African nations.
Pray for the 337 churches that have been planted in Sri Lanka since last year. Pray for hearts to be mended together in love, honor, and unity. Pray for the church to declare that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life in a land full of idols.

Meditation & Reflection

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” – Philippians 4:8

Take a few minutes to reflect on your prayers and the scriptures you’ve read. Open your heart and mind to God’s voice. As you meditate, ask yourself: What is God communicating to you through your prayers and the Word? How is He guiding or encouraging you in this moment?

As your prayer time comes to a close, thank God again for all He’s doing around the world.
