Prayer Fuel

Thank you for praying.

To get the most out of your prayer time, we recommend utilizing the prayer wheel below. This model is designed to not only support your prayer for TTI but also to be a valuable tool for your daily prayer life. We hope you find this template helpful and adaptable.

Praise & Thanksgiving

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Take a moment to thank God for who He is, what He’s done, and what He’s doing around the world.

Praise God for the upcoming Global RLT meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to gather together, sharpen one another, and lift the name of Jesus! Pray for the Holy Spirit to lead every detail of these meetings.
Praise God for 122 Pauls in Sri Lanka who have seen 400 churches planted there since 2024. Thank you, Jesus, for building your church in South Asia.
Thank you, Jesus, for Pierre David, a church planter in Haiti. Pierre is currently discipling 17 Timothys with a vision for them to plant churches that plant churches. Pray for the Lord to bless this training group and for God to multiply their ministry.
Praise God for our leadership here at The Timothy Initiative. Thank you, Lord, for men and women who are committed to honoring Jesus and obeying His commands. Pray for them and their families to be filled with peace, comfort, and joy!
Thank you, God, for the opportunity to serve you in Sierra Leone. Pray for the leaders and disciple makers there and for the Lord to continue providing them with all they need to carry His mission forward.

Confession & Repentance

“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” – Proverbs 4:23

Spend a few minutes taking inventory of your thoughts, actions, desires, behaviors, and lifestyle. Are there any areas in your life where there is unconfessed or unrepentant sin? Ask God to search your heart and respond accordingly before moving on.

Personal Petition

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7

Spend a few minutes bringing your personal requests before the Lord, as you do, consider asking the Lord to align your heart more closely with his, and to place a burden in your heart for the things that He cares most deeply about.

Intercession

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.” – 1 Timothy 2:1

Intercede on behalf of our brothers and sisters ministering around the world with TTI:

Please continue to pray for Cuba and Haiti as they recover from the devastation of Hurricane Melissa last year. Pray that the Lord would provide all their needs and that these nations would build back stronger than ever. Pray for the Lord to comfort those who have lost so much.
Pray for Ethel, one of our Timothys in Sierra Leone, whose church plant is facing some serious challenges. Some members of the congregation have rebelled and are no longer attending for fellowship. Pray for the Lord to bring peace to this fellowship and that this church would fully depend on the Lord. Pray for repentance, restoration, and healing in this community!
Join us in praying for the light of the Gospel to break into northern Vietnam. Pray for more laborers to be equipped with a vision to plant churches in this part of the country. Pray for church planters to be filled with boldness and for them to be willing to count the cost.
Pray for Govinda, a church planter in Nepal, who is training 15 Timothys that have seen 46 people come to salvation. Praise God for this amazing momentum and ask the Lord to strengthen these new believers. Pray that the Word of God would continue to go out in Nepal.
Please pray for the wife of one of our key ministry leaders in Kenya. She was involved in a road accident last month and was seriously injured. She was admitted to the hospital and needs your prayers. Pray for a quick recovery and for the Lord to bring healing!
Pray for the safety of disciple makers and church planters in Nigeria. As they share the Gospel, pray that the Lord would keep them safe from bandit attacks, kidnappings, and raids. Pray for the attacks on Christians across the nation to end.
Pray for the launch of ACHIEVE India 25-27 and for the over 40,000 disciple makers who are eager to share the Gospel with their communities, villages, and cities. Pray for our faith goal of planting 15,000 churches to be accomplished over the next two years, and for the Lord to multiply these disciples.
Pray for the 27 global missions organizations that have partnered together to form the Coalition of the Willing. Pray for unity and acceleration in seeing the Great Commission carried out. Pray for these organizations as they pray and plan to launch 40 multi-ministry target areas this year. A faith goal to more strategically impact regions with the Gospel and church planting. Pray for God to lead the way and prepare hearts across the world!

Meditation & Reflection

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” – Philippians 4:8

Take a few minutes to reflect on your prayers and the scriptures you’ve read. Open your heart and mind to God’s voice. As you meditate, ask yourself: What is God communicating to you through your prayers and the Word? How is He guiding or encouraging you in this moment?

As your prayer time comes to a close, thank God again for all He’s doing around the world.
